Initial Settings

As soon as your Operating System is installed (in this case, your Windows XP), there are a few necessary steps you will need to take to avoid further "fuss" regarding a few of the built-in features of Windows XP. Also, when everything is set up to appear at your desktop with the "Start" button and your "Recycle Bin", that's when you have to install everything you want in a certain order (ex. antivirus/firewall, drivers, etc.), otherwise "rule" conflicts between the installed programs and drivers will occur. This step is probably the easiest, but also the most important.
